Live Sent
When we LIVE SENT we are intentionally living throughout each day as “Jesus with skin on,”
seeking and doing his will in the world around us.
seeking and doing his will in the world around us.
Practices
- Intentionality of presence (aware of “sent-ness” in every interaction)
- Discernment
- Witness - sharing your story with God and speaking the truth in love
- Creation care
- Missional engagement
Evidences
- Building relationships of impact (Luke 15; Luke 19:10; Colossians 4:5-6; 1 Peter 2:12; 3:15-17)
- Consistent love and good deeds (Matthew 5:14-16; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 2:10; Hebrews 10:23-24)
For even the Son of Man came
not to be served, but to serve...
Mark 10:45
From distributions at our local Food Pantry, to helping children and young adults learn about Jesus, we provide a variety of opportunities to volunteer and serve our community. We also partner with Good News Kenya and the Good News Migwena Academy - supporting and visiting them to help meet the spiritual and physical needs of the people.
Opportunities to Serve on a Team
Kids & Youth Ministry
Trinity's Kids and Youth ministry aims to lead children to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and teach them values centered around religion, empathy, and discipline. In teaching children you will bring scriptural and spiritual truths to them and can help them understand the complex realities of the Christian faith. You will shine the light of understanding into the darkness of doubt and ignorance. You may also be instrumental in opening their minds to new truths, and challenging them to be more like Jesus.
Kitchen & Fellowship
Trinity is known for our wonderful coffee, sweets, and dinners. "Fellowship" involves coming together in community; often around a meal. We serve a free-will offering community meal on Wednesdays during the fall and winter months for our local families. We also provide a community meal on Sundays following our 2nd service.
Love to cook and serve others? We'd love to have you on the team!

Buildings & Grounds
Trinity takes pride in providing a warm, welcoming and clean facility for our Lord and others. While serving on the building and grounds crew, you would be responsible for the general maintenance and repairs for all church facilities including buildings, grounds and equipment; and possibly partnering with outside vendors and servant volunteers, when necessary. Our buildings and grounds crew handle a variety of jobs from carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting as well as outdoor mowing and landscaping.
Worship & Technical Arts
We have exciting opportunities for singers, musicians, instrumentalists, video production, lighting, visual media, and stage crew. We have regular midweek practices and times of connection. Our teams serve at Sunday service and other special events during the year. Scheduling is flexible to incorporate your rhythms of life and pursuit of Jesus. God wants to use your creative ability to help share his story and spread his love! Whether through music, video, artistic expression, or other creative pursuit, we want to help you use your gifts for the sake of something wonderful. Click to fill out an Application

Tiffany Stokes
Join Tiffany at the Welcome table on Sunday mornings, where she will introduce and discuss with you the various volunteer opportunities available at Trinity. Tiffany will take the time to understand your spiritual gifts and match you with fulfilling roles. Reflect on Matthew 7:7 for guidance on spiritual gifts: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

Michele Irby
Michele, our Food Pantry Director, leads a group of volunteers who organize and distribute essential food and toiletry items to those in need. You can help by stocking shelves, picking up food at a variety of distribution points, or handing out items on Wednesdays and third Saturdays when the Pantry is open.
Serve in our church
Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.
Serving in the local church is a way to explore our abilities and how they can be utilized by the Lord for the benefit of others. Through serving, we uncover details about ourselves: our preferences, strengths, and weaknesses. It's through service that God reveals more about who we are.
Missional Teams
Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry is open to the public on Wednesdays 4 -5:30 pm and in fall, the third Saturday of the month. As a volunteer you will feel and understand the love of Christ as you give comfort and aid to those who are in need. Volunteers also help stock the shelves when donations from Feed America and the Walworth County Food Bank become available.
Prison and Re-Entry Ministry
The greatest challenge for someone coming out of prison is falling back into the old habits, lifestyle decisions and even social circles that contributed to their incarceration. Sadly, this can lead to the person returning to incarceration. Proper support can make all the difference to prevent this from happening.
Our Prison and Re-entry Ministry is led by people who have come through the same circumstances. We offer each other HOPE and help each other live a more successful life following imprisonment. Join us in helping others struggling to make it through such a challenging transition.

Special Projects
On occasion Trinity has opportunities to reach out into our local community for special projects. This could entail projects for Habitat for Humanity, Feed my Starving Children, or variety of other similar projects. As these opportunities come up, we will make you aware of them through our newsletter or events calendar.
